1/8 Beef Deposit

Our all natural Angus cattle are raised on the Northern Edge of the Grand Valley in Fruita, CO. Grazing ground that was part of the journey for early homesteaders moving westward in the 1800's. 

Just like the generations before us, our cattle are raised without the use of growth hormones or antibiotics to ensure you can trust the food you serve at the family dinner table. Reserving a beef share with D&A Farms is the best way to guarantee the highest quality premium beef in your freezer for your family. 

Quality: Our Pasture Raised and Grain Finished Beef consistently grades as USDA High Choice to Prime *(Less than 2% of all US Steaks are graded USDA Prime!)

How it works: You reserve a D&A Farms Eighth Beef today with a $100 deposit. We reserve one of our premium angus steers for your family. Our USDA certified butcher will process your beef and pack it in vacuum sealed packages. Once your beef is ready, we will send you an invoice to collect the rest of the payment ($600). For fulfillment, you can choose from shipping, delivery or pickup (based on your location).

An Eighth Beef includes: Approximately 50 lbs. of our Premium Pasture and Grain Finished Beef. Eighth Beef shares include a selection of cuts, based on availability.

Example of what a Eighth Beef Share may look like:

6-8 Steaks from the Ribeye, T-Bone, Cube Round Steak, and Sirloin
2 Roasts either Chuck or Rump
1-2 lbs. Fajita Meat or Flank Steak
1-2 lbs. of Stew Meat
1-2 lbs. of Short Ribs
20-30 lbs. Ground Beef (80-85% lean)

*Some cuts may be substituted with a cut of similar value.

*Each animal yields different quantities and overall size of cuts. 

Freezer Space: This 1/8 Beef Share will require approx. 2.5 cubic ft. of freezer space.

Packaging: All cuts are individually vacuum sealed, USDA processed and labeled. 

Shipping: Your order will ship to your home. We will reach out and update you when our shipping dates are finalized.

We offer a Discount on all Local Pickup orders! After paying your deposit and selecting local pickup at checkout, your remainder invoice will reflect the discount and we will schedule a pickup time for your order once it is paid in full.
